POO BAH is a tale of a little teddy bear in The Lands of Make Believe. A member of The Guild of Imaginary Friends, Poo Bah is a loner in a village of guild members and their families, for he has been Forgotten by his Friend. For years, Poo Bah has waited for his Friend to remember him... to no avail. When a series of events necessitate action be taken, Poo Bah finds himself thrust into the role of Hero. Reluctantly, the little bear goes off on a grand adventure... and there, the fun begins! A fairy-tale for adults, Poo Bah is adventure and fantasy with a healthy dose of wry humour.
NEWS/UPDATES July 1st, 2010: The Poo Bah project on Kickstarter goes live today! So very excited and nervous. I kinda see this as my chance to make my own luck, make an opportunity for myself. I really hope this meets the goal (and then some, even, as that would allow me to do more than just finish and publish the rewards for it, but market it to publishers and even self-publish a short run.) June 2nd, 2010: Wow, lots of updates; um, I'm unemployed, single again, so as you can imagine with that negative RL stuff going on, haven't focused any time towards Poo Bah. Today, I made a step to try to remedy that. I submitted an application to Kickstarter to see if they will let me try to raise $2K to supplement my income so I can have the free time to finish writing and edit Poo Bah, so I can self-publish (and maybe even, in the long run, score a big publisher to publish/distribute the book.) Wish me luck! January 11th, 2010: If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. If you've noticed the banner at the top, 2009 was NOT the year where the Poo Bah story was finished. 2010 will be. Need to get really serious about finishing this story. June 2nd, 2009: Having a bit of problem with the plot map, so going to a non-graphical way of doing it. (I'm a writer, I do words.) March 30th, 2009: Well, started working on the Poo Bah plot map... got some details on it. Will likely scan it in and have it up for persual once completed. April isn't going to be a good month for Poo Bah - I'll be participating in Script Frenzy this year, and no, I'm not doing a Poo Bah movie. March 21st, 2009:Added a silly little widget at the bottom of the page. March 17th, 2009: First off - HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY! Okay, that being said... I've completed the re-read of Poo Bah and have made a list of major characters/places/things... it's a good thing I did this because I sure as hell wasn't aware of all that I loaded the story with! The next step is to "plot-map" the story; this is something I've never done before but strongly feel I need to do - there's so much going on in here... January 26th, 2009: I have a hardcopy of the Poo Bah story so far - 176 pages, printed up by our newest 'Groupie', Cheri! This will make it INFINITELY easier for me to do what I hate doing most of all - EDITING!!!! Gah!!!! (As Poo Bah would say, "Oh, bugger, it's time to edit.") January 6th, 2009: It's a new

November 10th, 2007: NaNoWriMo 2007 goes strong, almost halfway to the 50K goal. Added the Poo Bah Groupies roster page. October 27th, 2007: Absolutely
nothing has happened in about a year with this book.

know. October 21st, 2007: You can buy Poo Bah art and merchandise through Hal Case's deviant art store page. July 17th, 2007: poobah.770days.com becomes the new official URL for Poo Bah. New hosting/domain services go live. July 1st, 2007: www.poobahbear.com has been retired and Poo Bah (and the rest of the Lands of Make Believe) have made the move to 770 Days. This site is seriously going under some major revisions.
